RM, I can't believe you don't eat red meat. But I've known a few Malays who don't eat red meat: one of my colleagues at work, then also there's this Malay girl who has a popular blog in Australia: http://cookingismypassion.blogspot.com/

I did not mean to advertise her blog here, but I'm just linking her site because she's Malay. She has a different style from you because she's more into baking cakes.

I live in Australia and this is one of the reasons why it's hard to give up red meat because the beef are so good (compared to my childhood hometown in Indonesia), and there is this particular Vietnamese pho in Sydney which me & my partner has to have at least once every 1-2 weeks!

By the way, even though you're very slim, I'm very sure you may make people around you fat because of your yummy cooking!

I hardly eat red meat, too, not for health reasons or because I don’t like the taste, but when the meat I buy continues to bleed onto the styrofoam packaging, it does not seem dead enough, know what I mean? *shudder*
