We have been cooking porridge in a crockpot (slow cooker). We put it on low and leave it overnight. In the morning we add ginger, green onion, chopped cabbage and an egg. It comes out perfect every time.

I cook porridge for my baby since she was six month. I share my experience to my neighbour. We think, home made porridge is healthier and cheaper. Tq for your suggestion. Oh, my baby also likes sweet potatoe.

Made this today for my sick little daughter! She ate it up! Can't wait to try other baby recipes. Since she's older I used chicken stock and didn't blend it. Thanks!
