Your pictures look great…as usual I must say. And the food looks gorgeous. Wish I could live on the West Coast. Maybe it is not the right forum but I have 2 quick questions for you:
-Do you know a good Malaysian restaurant in New York (all these pictures have made me quite hungry)?
-I intend to spend a few days in Singapore in November-December and was thinking about spending a week end in Malaysia. Any idea of where I could go for a couple of days?
Thanks and keep up the good work.

Steamy - thanks so much! You’ve got yourself a date, at Belacan Grill. :)
K&S - thanks for the comment and thanks for checking out the site.
Jasmeet - correct, I love it too, because eating there is like eating at home…it’s very intimate and cozy, not commercialized at all.
Andaliman - yeah, I would love to try out every single dish on their expansive menu too. ;)
Yoyo’s Food - 谢谢。
Sig - yes, don’t miss out.

Vegasbuff - cool, you should. :)
East Meets West - where are you located? I will tell the boss to open a branch there. ;)
Cooknengr - if only we can get Malaysian see hum here…yeah, it would be 101% perfecto.
Expedited Writer - LOL, you are too funny. Yeah, don’t miss out the next time you are in CA. It’s certainly a lot closer than going back to Malaysia.
Maybahay - yeah, or just use your finger to grab the food. LOL. ;)
Wok and Spoon - you should move to CA, next stop!
Laurent - thanks for your comment! For New York, I have tried Penang in Chinatown, and also Nonya Restaurant in Soho. Both are pretty good. You can check them out. :) Yeah, you should totally spend a weekend or two or longer in Malaysia if you are going to be in Singapore. As to where you want to go, it depends the “mission” of your trip to Malaysia. If it’s for food, do go to Penang (my hometown). You probably won’t find better street food elsewhere, in my opinion. If you want a little of city plus food, KL is great too. But I think Penang will be awesome, because it’s just different, plus you get to try a variety of really good food, and also can take in some sightseeing and heritage stuff. Send me an email if you want further information. :)
Cynthia - Awwww, you are too sweet. Really. I am glad to have your as a friend because you really make me feel proud of myself, and I am sure Melting Wok would feel that same. Thanks again! :)

Congratulations on a job excellently done (and to Melting Wok too)! The website looks great and the photos fantastic! My mouth is watering and the only downside of your project is that I am totally drooling after those dishes which remain much too far away from me! :) Malaysia is actually closer… ;)
