I had seasoned rice vinegar,so I used that instead, works great.tastes just like teriyaki to me.

Hi bee :-) well my madam ask me to try the teriyaki, I search in Google, I never though that it was so easy, I will cook it tomorrow by then, but is it okey to use. Hinode mirin,instead of mitsuka?

I would assume it is not the same. “Hon” refers to it being the actual rice wine , while Mirin seasoning is, well, seasoning, and not actual rice wine. Regardless the brand, the Hon has and must only be added to the real deal.

1 Tbsp of sugar per 1 Tbsp of RICE vinegar (dissolve in the vinegar) to make 1/3 cup works
