I am a big fan of restaurant style chow mein, I looked at your recipe for chow mein, but it got noodles in it, what I am used to eating does not. I was wondering if you have a recipe for the one that got mostly cabbage and a white sauce in it. What is the main ingredient in the white sauce?

Your order sounds good, and you might want to add a soup dish after appetizer. Usually, for Chinese banquet, the order is: warm appetizers + cold appetizers, soup, poultry, fish/seafood, rice/noodles, dessert. Good luck.

For a number of years I have hosted a Chinese New Year Dinner for 10-12 guests. Is there a particular “order” to the menu. I usually do 1 or 2 appetizers, 8 meat, seafood and/ or vegatable courses followed by a dessert.

hi, am an indian now i was in china with my husband, first thing iam food lover and i love chines foods and i egar to learn chines dish but b’coz of language problem i cant. my neighbour are teach me some recipes, today only i saw this website i feel very very happy.. thankx for nice recipes..update more.
