Hi there, Bee. Thanks for that wonderful garlic parmesan roasted carrot recipe.
Just to check if normal-sized carrots need to be sliced lengthwise into halves or quarters for this recipe. I notice that the carrots u used r rather fine.
You can slice whichever way you like. It doesn’t matter.
carrot tops are edible. I like to stir fry them with beet tops. yummmmy
carrot tops are indeed edible. Carrot tops are an extension of the carrot root and have many of the same nutrients. The greens are high in vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, potassium, dietary fiber, calcium, and iron. These are all important nutrients for the health of your body and are known to boost the immune system, eliminate toxins in the body, and help regulate blood pressure. Just like with other leafy greens, carrot tops pack in the nutrients for a healthy life. though you want carrot tops that are organic with no sprays on them.
Hi Susan thanks for letting me know.
