I could never make a butter cake as it always rose perfectly in the oven but fell when taken out. This is the first butter recipe i've made perfectly, the cake was fabulous not only in taste but the texture was light and fluffy. I can't tell you how pleased i am to have found this recipe. I used sour cream instead of yogurt and large eggs instead of x-large and it came out fine. With the batter, I was able to make 4 mini loaves AND a dozen cupcakes. The cupcakes were done in about 20 min and the loaves about 45. Since I'm pregnant, I had to make sure I didn't eat it all, so I have been giving it to friends and they all LOVE it!
