The Best Grilled Oysters
One of my favorite things to grill during summer is oysters — big, fat, juicy and succulent oysters on the half shell. Grilled oysters are one of the easiest things to make, and the end result is so delicious that I can eat so many of them.
I created this recipe after I tried out a similar recipe at a seafood buffet recently. You need a few simple ingredients to bring out the natural briny good taste of the oysters: finely chopped garlic, parsley leaves, salt, paprika, and butter.
It’s that simple. If you don’t have an outdoor grill, you can baked them in the oven and the results are equally tantalizing. Before serving, you may add a squirt of lemon juice or lime juice and enjoy!

Nice recipe. Thank you for sharing as I always wanted to know how to grill oysters.
OMG so going to make these this weekend for Memorial Day. I know they are going to be amazing because it’s your recipe!
Thank you for sharing the wonderful recipe. I tried mine last night with coconut oil (only because there was no butter in my fridge) and it gave additional taste and aroma as appetizers.
Add some spinach and a few drops of Herbsaint to have an effect a lot like Oysters Rockerfeller.
I grew up in Biloxi, bought bags of oysters from kids in the East end (before the water got bad) and the folks living next door made excellent home brew. A couple of bags of oysters a couple of bottles of their brew … !!!
Great idea thanks for letting me know. :)
