Chinese New YearClick here to view some pictures I snapped during the first two days of Chinese New Year.

As I am on a painfully slooooow 56K dial-up connection now, I will keep this short. I hate jetlag, I miss my broadband connection in the US, but Chinese New Year has been very fun so far.

I will post more soon, hopefully; the WIFI connection at Starbucks seems like a promising alternative now…please stay tuned.

I loved the Penang pictures. It sort of brought me home again-even if I had just left it less than a month ago, it seems like forever. You have a great time there, enjoy yourself, eat lots and just soak in Penang. I am so depressed already in the Midwest.

Rosa - thanks for your compliment. :)

Tiga - I am actually going to leave in 5 days time…sob sob.

Jackson - my bad for this late response, but we did meet. :)

True Blue Penangite - move to California and you will be less depressed. :P

Keropak Man - I haven’t checked out your pictures in a while because of limited access to the internet. I am sure you are eating well though. :)

Claude - yes, 56k in my parents’ place. It is POSSIBLE and 56K still around!!!!!

Jack - welcome to RM. Yeah, I love those Chinese New Year cookies…they are great.

Budding Cook - oooh, you are top 10 of the tourney…congrats! Will have to tell me when I return to the US. Hehe.

Chris - How much did you collect? :P

Fern - I do have a recipe for kuih bangkit, not my personal ones because I do not like them. The recipe is on “Nyonya Flavours” the new cookbook I just bought. :P

Allan and Nigel - welcome and thanks for linking me, of course I do not mind. I will add you to my blogroll too when I go back to the States. Ping me if I don’t. ;)

Chief Glutton - Stress, excitement, tension? Yeah, I could see them written all over your face at The Galaxies, LOL! Thanks for the karaoke session… 3 hours were simply too short. :(

Lucia - yes, we will be meeting on Thursday night at 7. :)
