Wow! I love that idea for potstickers – not only would they be less time-consuming to make, but it looks like you could fit more filling in the middle too ;)

Hey Bee! It’s been a while but I’m finally catching up on all my blog reading and hopefully posting as well. The pot stickers look great but like mama bok above me, I’m wondering what kind of dipping sauce they use in Beijing and what your favorite is. I usually like a mix of lite soy, Chinkaing vinegar, sugar, chili oil, sesame oil and green onions. Mmm, wish i had some pot stickers right now. Enjoy Beijing!

that is ingenious. if only I had done so myself instead of slavishly following tradition and cutting the corners off the square skins I bought so that they’d be (somewhat) rounded.
