My family and I made the lotus root soup and it was amazingly good. It was perfect for this kind of weather. Soup over rice hits the spot when it’s cold and damp out. Just like the way my mom used to make it… Perfect!! Thanks.

Thank you for sharing your recipes. While my MIL was alive, she refused to share her Malaysian recipes with me. Ironically, one recipe she did share – Assam Fish, I cooked for her before she passed away as that was the only Malaysian food I learned to cook. I can’t wait to try your recipes – they look fantastic!

I have tried making rolls and buns from a million recipes. The buns and rolls are soft and good but they tend to get heavy the next day. I wish to get a recipe for buns and rolls that is super soft like macdonalds bread and does not turn heavy the next day.
i always cool them down keep them covered in a zip lock plastic.
I am waiting excitedly to try out your given hints and tips and the recipe of course.
