– 1 roll ready to bake pie crust

– 2 cups pecans
– 3 large eggs
– 1/2 cup maple syrup
– 2/3 cup brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
– 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, and roast the pecans for 5 minutes until you can smell the aroma; then coarsely chop.
