Easy and quick Grilled Cheese Prawns recipe brings a mouthwatering appetizer or a side to the table in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

– 2 tablespoons mayonnaise – ▢1 egg yolk – ▢4 large prawns – ▢1 cup shredded cheese – ▢1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped )

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Add mayonnaise and egg yolk to a small bowl, stir well, and set aside.

Step 2

– Rinse four large prawns and pat them dry with paper towels. Using a sharp knife, make a shallow cut down the middle of the back of each prawn to create a pocket. Clean and devein the prawns. Be careful not to cut all the way through. Then, transfer them directly to a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Step 3

– Generously coat each prawn with the mayonnaise mixture and stuffed with shredded cheese, gently pressing them to fill the space evenly.

Step 4

– Bake the prawn in a preheated oven (or an outside griller) for 8 to 10 minutes or until the prawns turn pink and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 5

– Serve immediately with freshly chopped parsley on top.
