- 1 lb (500 grams) small potatoes
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter melted
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 400°F (205C°).
Fill a saucepan halfway with water, add potatoes and boil for 5 minutes, drain and remove to a cutting board. Cut the potatoes in halves and set aside.
Combine melted butter, half of the grated cheese, salt, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning and paprika in a bowl, mix well. Pour into a 9"x 9" (23 x 23 cm) square baking tray and evenly distribute the mixture with a brush.
Transfer the potatoes onto the baking tray in a single layer with the cut-side face down. Spread the rest of the parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and tender from the inside.
Serve immediately with more grated parmesan cheese on top if desired.
