Parmesan Crusted Potatoes

Easy and quick Parmesan Crusted Potatoes take 10 minutes to prepare and are served perfectly as a side dish for dinner. The potatoes are crispy on the bottom while the inside is soft and tender.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 grams) small potatoes
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205C°).
  • Fill a saucepan halfway with water, add potatoes and boil for 5 minutes, drain and remove to a cutting board. Cut the potatoes in halves and set aside.
  • Combine melted butter, half of the grated cheese, salt, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning and paprika in a bowl, mix well. Pour into a 9"x 9" (23 x 23 cm) square baking tray and evenly distribute the mixture with a brush.
  • Transfer the potatoes onto the baking tray in a single layer with the cut-side face down. Spread the rest of the parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and tender from the inside.
  • Serve immediately with more grated parmesan cheese on top if desired.
