Ingredients

  • 12 oz (350g) broccoli florets, sliced horizontally
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (207°C).
  • Toss the sliced broccoli with the olive oil and butter. Season with salt and black pepper. Transfer the broccoli to a baking sheet, in single layer, roast for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the broccoli, roast again until the cheese melts and slightly crusty, about 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
