Ingredients

  • 7 oz gailan
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¾ tablespoon oyster sauce

Instructions

  • Trim off and discard the thick stem from each gailan stalk, then cut the remaining gailan in half.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  • Add the gailan and give it a few quick stirs to combine with the garlic.
  • Add the oyster sauce and stir-fry until the leaves are slightly wilted, the stems are tender-crisp, and the gailan is evenly coated with the sauce.
Pro Tip: If the pan becomes too dry, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately with steamed rice.
