Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 3-4 cloves garlic pureed
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon parsley leaves chopped
  • 1 cup shredded 3-cheese blend mozzarella, Monterey Jack, and cheddar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C). Combine the garlic, butter, and parsley leaves in a small bowl and stir until well combined.
  • Slice the French bread into 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick pieces and lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the butter mixture onto the bread.
  • Top the bread with the 3-cheese blend and bake in the oven for 10 minutes on the middle rack. Serve warm.

Notes

  • The secret to the best garlic toast is all in the garlic parsley butter—it’s what gives every bite that rich, buttery, and garlicky flavor. So make sure to coat each slice evenly for the ultimate taste in every bite.
  • I always use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. Pureed garlic blends right into the butter, making every bite extra flavorful with that irresistible garlicky aroma.
  • For the cheese topping, I chose Trader Joe’s three-cheese blend of mozzarella, cheddar and Monterey Jack. You can’t go wrong with these three cheeses on a buttery and garlicky toast.
