Ingredients

  • 1 bundle soba noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Mizkan Bonito Flavored Soup Base
  • 2-3 teaspoons sriracha spicy chili sauce
  • 3 sliced Naruto Japanese fish cake
  • 1 mini bok choy
  • 3 fresh Shiitake mushroom sliced
  • 1 hard-boiled egg

Instructions

  • Heat up a pot of water and bring it to boil. Cook the soba noodles until al dente, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside in a bowl.
  • In the meantime, heat up 1 1/2 cups of water and bring it to boil. Add the Mizkan (Bonito Flavored) Soup Base, Sriracha, Naruto, mini bok choy and mushroom. Boil for about 1 minute.
  • Turn off the heat and pour the soup into the soba noodles, top with sliced hard-boiled eggs and serve immediately. Squirt more Sriracha for extra heat if you like.

Notes

Mizkan (Bonito Flavored) Soup Base is a magical condiment that you can use to make a variety of authentic Japanese dishes: cold soba dipping sauce, the broth for noodles such as udon and soba.
