- 1 lb (500g) cremini mushrooms or white mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- chopped parsley
Trim the stems off the mushrooms, rinse them with water, and pat them dry with paper towels.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Sauté the garlic, then add the mushrooms and stir to combine. Add the chicken broth, whipping cream, garlic powder, and salt. Bring to a boil until the sauce slightly thickens. Stir in the chopped parsley and serve immediately.
