- 3 tablespoons fat drippings from rotisserie chicken or roasted meat
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups chicken broth
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper
Save the fat drippings from the rotisserie chicken or any roasted meat you have. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the water and stir well. Set aside.
Heat a small saucepan over medium heat and add the fat drippings along with the chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir in the cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
