How to Clean Mushrooms
You can clean mushrooms using a paper towel or a small kitchen towel. Lightly dampen the towel with a bit of water and gently wipe the surface of the mushrooms to remove any dirt.
Be sure to wipe the underside of the mushroom cap and the stem as well.
Cut off the bottom part of the stem. The mushrooms are now clean.
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the butter and let it melt, then add the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic briefly before adding the mushrooms. Stir continuously until the mushrooms are coated with the garlic butter.
Add the chicken broth, lemon juice, salt, and ground black pepper. Allow the mushrooms to cook in the skillet until they change color and shrink slightly.
Add the chopped parsley and serve immediately.
