- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter room temperature
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 12 oz (350g) baby spinach
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 dashes ground black pepper
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt. Sauté the garlic until aromatic, then add the baby spinach. Stir and toss until the spinach is wilted.
Add the heavy whipping cream, water, salt, and ground black pepper. Stir to combine well with the spinach.
Turn the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the spinach becomes very soft but not overcooked. The spinach should retain a vibrant green color (not purple). Serve immediately.
