- 1 lb (500g) pork chop
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tablespoon cilantro stems minced
- 3 tablespoons coconut milk
Rinse the pork chops and pat them dry with paper towels. Set aside.
Take a bowl and mix the remaining ingredients together to form a marinade.
Transfer the pork chops to a sealable plastic bag and slowly pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are nicely coated. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat the grill and brush a little oil on the surface of the pork chops. Grill the pork chops, turning them over several times, until cooked through. Serve immediately.
