Honey Lime Chicken Wings

This honey lime chicken wings recipe is made with juicy wingettes tossed in savory fish sauce and fresh lime juice before being cooked to golden perfection. It is a simple appetizer made in just 30 minutes that finishes with sweet honey and a sharp citrus squeeze.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 chicken wingettes mid-section
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey for brushing
  • 10-12 slices lime for serving
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, combine the chicken wings with fish sauce, black pepper, and lime juice. Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6 minutes.
  • Flip the wings and air fry again at 375°F (190°C) for another 4 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  • Brush the cooked chicken wings with honey while they are still hot.
  • Dip the lime slices lightly into sugar on both sides and shake off any excess.
  • Place a sugared lime slice on each chicken wing. To serve, squeeze the lime over the wings before eating.
