Orange-Lime Margarita

Ingredients

  • kosher salt for the glass rim
  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeeze
  • 1/2 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 6 oz (175g) tequila
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • fresh lime wedges for garnishing
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add some kosher salt to a flat plate. Wet the rims of the glasses by rubbing them with water. Turn the glasses upside down and dip the rims into the salt, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Combine the orange juice, lime juice, triple sec, tequila, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add more orange juice, lime juice, tequila, and/or sugar to achieve your desired taste.
  • Fill the glasses with ice cubes and add a couple of lime wedges. Pour the orange-lime margarita into the glasses and serve immediately.
