Servings: 20 people
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
In a medium bowl, whisk the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin until smooth. Set aside.
In a large bowl, toss together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a rubber spatula. Fold in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, cover the dough, and chill for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it into balls, about 1 1/2 tablespoons each. Slightly flatten the dough balls and press a few more chocolate chips onto the tops. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
