Soak the bamboo skewers in water. Rinse the shrimp, pat them dry with paper towels, and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, melted butter, salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Reserve some for grilling. Combine the shrimp with the garlic butter mixture, then thread three shrimp onto each bamboo skewer.
Grill the shrimp on a grill, brushing the garlic butter mixture on both sides while cooking. Serve immediately.
