Focaccia’s appeal lies not only in its delicious taste but also in its ability to evoke a sense of homemade comfort and culinary tradition wherever it is enjoyed.

my dough is kind of dry not sticky
It should be sticky. If it’s dry, it means some measurements were off.
I almost burned up my mixer mixing this. How do do it by hand ?? But it was the best
Hi Janet, sorry to hear that. I guess just mix by hands and not using the mixer.
Could I use glutin free flour like cup4cup?
I am not sure without trying.
can it be mixed by hand?
Yes.
The recipe doesn’t mention rolling the dough out at any point, but your write up does. Which is correct and if it is rolled, when? Thank you!
Hi Jennifer, it’s more like stretching out the dough on the baking tray. After mixing in stand mixer, transfer to a greased baking tray and stretch out to cover the entire tray.
Thank you for the clarification. I look forward to trying this recipe!
No worries, keep me posted on the results! :)
My kid is going to love this! Thanks for posting.
Thanks!
How long do I let the yeast rise. Do you recommend any particular yeast brand?
You don’t need to wait for it to rise, just mix and let is rise later. I used Fleischmann brand.
Can I use regular yeast instead of instant?
I think so, but you have to wait for the yeast to activate first.
Delicious focaccia, best I`ve ever tasted and very easy to make!
