How to Make Celery Juice?

Juicing celery into a juice is so easy and takes only 5 minutes.

I used an electronic blender for smoother texture since celery is a fibrous vegetable.

To make the juice, first rinse and wash the celery with cold running water. Peel or trim off the dry parts and remove the leaves attached to the stems.

Next, cut the celery into chunks and finally, add water and blend the celery in the blender.

Whole Juicing Vs. Traditional Juicing

Whole juice is the result of blending fruits and veggies into a drinkable liquid without removing the pulp.

Traditional juicing uses a juicer and removes all the pulp so the juice is smooth and easily digestible.

I don’t like the pulp so I strained and remove it. However, you can drink the juice with its pulp as it’s loaded with fiber.

Is it better to consume celery juice without straining out the junks? Pls advice. Thks

    1. Rasa Malaysia says:

You can drink the celery juice with the pulp, it’s your personal preference. With the pulp, you get a lot of fiber. I like filtered celery juice.

    2. Diane Galazka says:

If you donโ€™t want the fiber, juice in a juicer that removes the fiber. Once you blend the whole veggie/fruit, it is too late to get the micronutrients that are the benefit of juiced produce. You have to decide if you want the fiber (whole produce) or the micronutrients (juiced produce.)

Wouldn’t have thought of this. A friend of mine is toying with the idea of juicing her veggies. I wonder if you could sneak in an apple, especially for the kids. If you blend it right away, maybe the apple juice would not discolor. Apple and celery is a good combo. Think Waldorf Salad in a glass (without the walnuts and mayo)! Thank you for all you do, Bee. Kind regards,
