Puff Pastry Jam Puffs
Recently, my son took a junior cooking class and he came home with some yummy sweet jam puffs filled with fruit jam.
He requested me to buy mixed fruit jam and puff pastry so he could make the sweet treats again.
So I decided to take him shopping for the ingredients and together, we made these gorgeous looking jam puffs.
Recipe Ingredients
This recipe is one of the easiest sweet desserts you can make for your little ones.
I will guarantee you that you won’t mind eating them and they are perfect as afternoon snack or anytime you want a sweet treat.
The recipe calls for:
- Store-bought puff pastry
- Mixed fruit jam or any fruit jam
- Melted butter
- Coarse sugar
How to Make Jam Puffs?
This recipe is so easy and I bet anyone can make them in a jiffy.
First, defrost the puff pastry to room temperature. Then cut the puff pastry sheet into 4×4-inch squares.
Add one tablespoon of mixed berry jam to the center and fold up to form triangle shapes.
Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes and you are done.
Baking Tips
This is a very easy and simple recipe but there are a few baking tips that I wanted to share with you.
-
- Make sure you don’t overfill the jam puffs with too much jam.
- Make sure you press the opening of the jam puffs tight. Press with the back of a fork to ensure there is no opening
- Brush melted butter on the top of the puffs for that glistening appearance

How well will these keep for a few days at room temperature ? Look like a great dessert to take camping but will they get soggy in a airtight container?
They will last around a day at room temp. Will depend on the temperature of where they sit.
