I love asparagus as they are so healthy and always available at the market, especially this time of year when I can get tender and young asparagus.
One of the easiest way to make asparagus into a weeknight meal is to add a protein of your choice, for example: chicken, and make it into a simple Asian stir-fry, such as this chicken and asparagus.
The key to making a flavorful and delicious asparagus chicken lies in the stir-fry sauce. The sauce has to be savory, with the perfect balance of flavors, plus a bit of heat, which I lend it from Thai sweet chili sauce.
Another key technique is to make sure that you don’t overcook the asparagus. They should remain tender with a nice crunch.
This chicken and asparagus recipe takes only 15 minutes to make. Serve this with rice or simple noodles and dinner is ready.

The best!
Very good recipe. I’ve made it about three times so far. The first time it tasted a little weak, so the next time I doubled the sauce recipe and cut back on 2 tablespoons of the water. Also added an onion after frying the asparagus……yum!! Thank you for sharing your recipes.
Made this for dinner yesterday. It was really good will be adding it to our rotation. Your recipes never disappoint ???
Hi Estella, thanks for trying my chicken and asparagus recipe.
Sounds great, but I bought some long beans last night and will use them instead. And, of course, a little bit of Siracha.
Sweet chili sauce is my favorite! You can add that sauce to pretty much anything and it works!
