Garlic Chive Butter Steak is the perfect steak you can make, especially this time of year when we start firing out the grill. I love my steak pretty rare so it’s extremely tender, juicy and bursting with amazing flavors, especially with the garlic chive butter. It takes only 15 minutes on the grill and it’s the only steak recipe you will need!
For the cut of steak, I used boneless rib eye because I like my steak to be a bit fatty. The recipe works very well with sirloin or other cut of steak that you like. But personally I think rib eye steak and sirloin are the best with garlic chive butter. For the seasoning, you only need salt and ground black pepper!
The thickness of the steak is very important. If it’s too thin, it will be overcooked. I like mine to be about 3/4″ thick. After you grill the steak, slice into pieces like the pictures here. Serve with the melting garlic chive butter and you will have the most amazing steak dinner that rivals the best restaurants!
