The Best Baked Salmon

This baked salmon recipe comes from my very popular ginger garlic baked chicken. It is one of the best salmon recipes ever!

Imagine baking the salmon with some ginger, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.

Ginger and garlic are two of my favorite ingredients. I never run out of them in my kitchen.

In Asian cooking, they are two of the most important ingredients that impart amazing aromas and flavors to all kinds of food, especially when they are used to marinate protein such as chicken, meat, or seafood such as salmon.

The end result is SO good. The salmon is extremely flavorful and delightful.

I have never enjoyed salmon but I tried this today (husband loves salmon so I make it for him occasionally) and have to say this marinade changed my mind towards salmon. It is so delicious. I poured remaining marinade onto salmon after baking and โ€œwowโ€ it was lick your plate yummy. Thanks for sharing recipe. I am thinking of trying marinade on ramen noodles sometime soon.

What’s the trick so the skin doesn’t stick. I did oil the pan but I lost most of the skin (which is my favorite part). Other than that the salmon looks delicious.

I thought this was delicious. I baked in a foil tent at 325 for 15 minutes and then opened the foil to get a little glazing. It was delicious …anything with garlic and ginger is amazing but I always struggle with fish so this made me happy!!

  8. Katayun. says:

Loved making it and eating it ! Thank you for a great and easy recipe. I too used a fillet of salmon, sliced it and marinated it overnight.

    1. Irene says:

I tried this recipe earlier this year and it’s the only way my husband wants to eat salmon now. I’m making it tonight but since my daughter doesn’t like salmon, I m using chicken for her. This sauce is so delicious that I think it would be good with any protein. I’m thinking about using shrimp next time. I like to make extra sauce that we can use for dipping the cooked salmon.

      1. Rasa Malaysia says:

Yes, you can use the sauce on anything, literally!

  9. Yvonne says:

The family adores this with wasabi mashed potatoes!
