Happy Sunday!

Weekly Meal Plan #5 is here again, with recipe ideas for the week ahead so you don’t have to think hard what to cook for dinner tonight.

Sorry for taking a two-week break for the weekly meal plan as we were celebrating Thanksgiving (what meal plan when you have Thanksgiving).

I also skipped last week as I am sure everyone was recovering from Thanksgiving food coma and concussion. Anyway, I am back to help you plan December with easy and delicious homemade meals.

For this Weekly Meal Plan #5, I am going to plan more global flavors recipes. I am not sure about you, but after Thanksgiving, I am craving for something “exotic” and different.

Remember that this weekly meal plan is a general guideline, you don’t have to follow it exactly. Pick what works for you, change things up and make it work for you. Happy cooking and eating!

Monday – Creamy Garlic Parmesan Gnocchi

I really love this easy and no-fuss simple ingredients gnocchi. It is so quick to make, with pantry items that you already have in the kitchen. What’s more, you can serve it plain or with a protein add on, for example: Garlic Honey Lime Shrimp.

Tuesday – Sizzling Skillet Fajita

Who doesn’t like a sizzling hot skillet with our favorite Mexican Fajita. Make this Chicken Fajita, or change things with steak and make a sizzling steak Fajita.

It’s totally up to you. And don’t forget to get yourself some tortilla at the market.

Wednesday – Thai Beef Massaman Curry

Imagine soft and tender chunks of beef with potatoes, slathered in a rich, spicy and creamy curry sauce.

Serve it over steaming hot white rice, ahhhh, you’re transported to Thailand or the best Thai restaurant in town.

Thursday – Asian Fruit Slaw

After the heavy eating in the past two weeks, this Asian Fruit Slaw is so refreshing and light. This is a perfect light meal on a Thursday night as the work week is almost over.

Friday – No Cooking

Saturday – Potstickers

Learn something new on Saturday by making Potstickers. It’s so much fun to make potstickers, and you will enjoy turning simple ingredients into little morsels of dumplings, and then pan fry them to crispy deliciousness.

Trust me, it’s very rewarding to make Chinese dumplings. Once you master the techniques, you can whip up all sorts of dumplings and potstickers for the entire family!

You can also make ahead, freeze them so you can eat them whenever you want through the week.

Sunday – One Pot Meatball Casserole

Who can say NO to a pot full of meatballs, in a tomato-based sauce, topped with melted Mozzarella cheese?

My mouth is watering at the very thought of it. You can serve the meatballs with an easy spaghetti with garlic, olive oil and dry crushed red peppers.

Easy Spaghetti
