I haven’t been cooking for the blog for well over 10 days, so yesterday, I cooked up a storm in my kitchen and made four dishes. One of them is this easy spaghetti recipe that is inspired by Leite’s Culinaria.
There is a reason why this dish is called easy spaghetti because it’s a breeze putting together this wonderful dish yet it tastes pretty darn good. All the ingredients are pantry ingredients: spaghetti, olive oil, butter, salt, pepper, and dried chili flakes.
When garlic and oil sizzle together, magic happens. The nuance and aroma from the garlic turn simple and plain spaghetti into something flavorful. With a bit of salt, pepper and dried chili flakes, this easy spaghetti instantly transformed into something palatable.
You can serve this spaghetti with your main dish, for example: chicken and sauteed mushroom, lemon garlic braised chicken with potato, roasted shrimp scampi, baked salmon, or sides such as garlic herb roasted potatoes, honey butter roasted carrots, or Parmesan roasted cauliflower. The possibilities are endless.
