These garlic herb cheese bombs are the bomb. Period.

It took me 10 minutes to prep, 10 minutes to bake, and in 20 minutes, these cheesy bombs were out of the oven and ready to be served.

Ingredients  

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits, 7.5 oz. each
  • 4 oz (125g) Mozzarella cheese, cut into 20 cubes
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
  • Open the biscuit cans and separate the biscuits. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. To wrap the cheese bombs, place one cube of cheese in the center of each biscuit.
  • Carefully wrap the biscuit dough around the cheese, pinching it to close and seal tightly. Place the seam side down and arrange the biscuits so they are at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the surface turns golden brown.
  • While the biscuits bake in the oven, mix the butter, garlic powder, salt, and parsley leaves together. Set aside.
  • Remove the biscuits from the oven and brush them with the butter mixture immediately. Serve warm.

    I made these tonight and they were a HIT!!! However, I also had a problem of cheese spilling out! It wasn’t even from the sealed part. It all came from the side :( I don’t know how to prevent it from happening. I tried it twice and both times this happened. The seals were in tact. There were no holes going into the over and there was a new one coming out and no cheese to be found inside :( any suggestions? I know they were sealed perfectly!!

    I just made mine tonight and they cooked wonderfully except all the cheese exploded out!!!!! The bottom seal was still intact but every single one of them had a hole blown in the side where all the cheese exploded out. talk about a BOMB. So the thing is I planned to make these again for an event tomorrow but now i’m scared it will happen again. Advice????

      Twist the opening and seal very tight. That’s the only way to prevent them from leaking out. Keep twisting and pinching! :)

    Do you use a regular mozzarella cheese or have you ever tried it with fresh mozzarella balls?? I was thinking about getting the ones that already bite size.

      Yes you can use mozzarella balls but I used regular ones or these garlic herb cheese bombs.
