I love mojito, it’s one of my favorite cocktails and drinks.
I love the mints and the lime combination, but sometimes, when I want a little fruity flavors, I would get blackberry mojito, which adds a nice punch to it.
Homemade mojito is very easy to make and you can make a big pitcher, especially when you have a party, for example July 4th.
The kids can have coconut water lemonade but we can certainly have some blackberry mojito to go with all the BBQ and grilling.
Just one tip to share when you muddle the mint leaves and blackberries: be gentle.
The key is to release the fruity and minty flavors, but not bitterness.
Also, over-muddled blackberries will make your blackberry mojito cloudy.
Have a great July 4th weekend.

Hi, this is ‘Fran’ from G’day Soufle’- I like the looks of this cocktail- I have some leftover vodka from my usual Harvey Wallbanger cocktail that I make on the week-ends. I’ll be making this Mojito for sure!
Awesome Fran, I hope you like this blackberry mojito.
