Garlic and Sriracha sauce are amazing combinations when it comes to protein. This Garlic Sriracha Salmon is no exception as the garlic lends the garlicky nuance and the Sriracha imparts heat to the salmon. The end result is one of the best salmon recipes ever!
The best and easiest way to cook salmon is using foil. This salmon is wrapped with foil and baked in the oven. The end result is moist, juicy, tender and perfectly cooked salmon, in the mouthwatering garlic Sriracha sauce.
Garlic Sriracha Sauce
This amazing sauce calls for a few simple ingredients: garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar (or sugar), Sriracha and honey. The ratio of each ingredient is very important so there is perfect balance of flavors.
It’s very versatile and can be used on another type of protein, such as chicken.
This salmon turns out utterly delicious. For serving, simple steamed rice is all you need. Spoon the sauce over the rice and serve the salmon with the rice. Enjoy!

My wife is allergic to honey. What would you suggest? I would like to try this recipe.
Thank you.
Use agave.
This was really delicious and easy to make. The sriracha added a little heat without being overpowering at all. Thank you for this recipe!
Delicious, but what is the green herb in the pictures that you used as a garnish…? Coriander leaves??
Italian parsley.
Came out perfect
Awesome Jaylata.

Hi Rasa
The salmon recipe looks great, I am just wondering what sriracha is as this is the first time I have heard of it, I can’t say I have seen it on supermarket shelves but will check it out in Sainsbury’s tomorrow because I am itching to try it
I made this Saturday night and it was truly one of the best salmon recipes I’ve tried! The sauce is so well balanced and delicious!! I too cooked mine about 10 more minutes and would love to open the foil and put under the broiler for just a few. I’ve passed it on to others who appreciate really wonderful salmon recipes, with your credit and linking back to your blog. Thank you for sharing!!!
Thank’s for the mentioned this recipe.
The garlic Sriracha salmon is a wonderful recipe!
Hi Peter, thanks for your sweet comment about garlic sriracha salmon.
Great recipe, thank you!
My only comment: I prefer using double layer of baking paper, same result but more environmentally friendly.
Again, thanks for sharing!
Sure, you can!
Thank you. Glad a read the comments because you answered my question about using parchment paper instead.
Sorry but the 3 rating is for the diections. The rating of 5 is for the sauce, lovely. However 400 degrees at 15 minutes doesn’t come close to cooking it…. added 10 minutes and not much better…. pumped it up to 450 and opened the foil for 5-10 minutes longer, perfect for 1.11 lb. of salmon. We’ll do this again with the fish on a baking sheet at 475 for 15 maybe 20 min.
Love your site.
How thick is your salmon? Open the foil and cook at 450 at 10 minutes after 15 minutes will make your salmon way overcooked.
