Honey is one of my favorite ingredients in the kitchen. I use honey in many of my recipes, including in many salmon recipes!
It makes everything tastes better, for example this sticky sweet, savory, and zesty Honey Lime Salmon on a skillet.
As the name suggests, this honey lime salmon recipe doesn’t get any easier as it calls for only a few key ingredients: honey, soy sauce and fresh lime juice.
I love buying salmon with skin on, because when I pan-fry the salmon on a skillet, the skin crisps up and makes the salmon so much more delicious. I usually cook my salmon on the stovetop and then transfer to the oven.
This ensures that we have a crispy texture at the bottom part of the salmon but the inside remains tender and juicy. This honey lime salmon is absolutely amazing; it’s one of those dinner recipes you can make over and over again!

Honey Lime Salmon
Honey Lime Salmon – sweet and zesty salmon with honey, lime juice and soy sauce. Takes 15 mins and great for tonight’s dinner.
- 1 lb. salmon
- ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- lime wedges
- chopped parsley
1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the salmon with salt and black pepper. Mix the honey, soy sauce and lime juice together, stir to combine well.
Heat up a skillet with the olive oil. When it's heated, add the salmon and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the honey mixture into the skillet, spooning the honey lime sauce on the salmon.
Finish it off by roasting the salmon in the oven for 10 minute or until the fish is cooked through. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
How many servings are suggested for this recipe. It says “Yield 1 people” but that can’t be right when it calls for 1 lb of fish.
I had 3x 4 oz pieces of salmon and followed the recipe for the sauce. It turned out great!
Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! We loved it! Next time I’ll make more! ?
Made this for my family tonight and they loved it. The key was not to add too much as to not overpower the flavor of the salmon. Definitely will be making it again.
This was scrumptious! I added some grated fresh ginger and sliced spring onions to the pan. A happy family at dinner!
Thanks for the recipe

Hi. I’m not sure if I’m missing something but some of the recipe seems to be missing from the page?
Hi Alain – the recipe is at the bottom of the page please scroll down.
This was a very easy and delicious recipe. I added a minced clove of fresh garlic to the marinade and also skipped the panfrying step. I baked the salmon in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, then finished it under the broiler for 2 more minutes.
Awesome, so glad that you tried the honey lime salmon recipe.
