There are many ways to cook asparagus, for example: sauteed asparagus, but I also love this quick, delicious and easy garlic oven roasted asparagus.

Asparagus is one of my favorite greens, it’s always fun to eat, as I nibble down the top of the asparagus all the way to the stem, just like eating a tree!

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients.

The active prep time is 5 minutes and 12 minutes roasting in the oven. In less than 20 minutes, a wonderful, healthy and homemade side dish of roasted asparagus is ready for the family.

Cooking Tips

  • Buy fresh, young and tender asparagus. Young asparagus are skinny with soft stems.
