Best Turmeric Recipes
Recently I read it online that turmeric is a super food that does wonders to our health. The yellow color root belongs to the ginger family and is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, has wound healing and other medicinal benefits.
It’s one of my favorite spices; it imparts an exotic taste, wonderful fragrance and aromas to protein such as chicken.
This honey turmeric chicken is a great recipe to introduce you to turmeric. The chicken is moist, juicy, delicious, golden in color, with an intense aroma and absolutely mouthwatering.

I made this tonight – be careful of cooking on high heat. The skin burns easily because of the honey in the marinade.
My family and I liked this recipe with adding 1/4 c. brown sugar and a bit more soy sauce. Also, instead of soy sauce we sub Liquid Aminos.
Sounds yummy, thanks for trying my honey turmeric chicken recipe.
I made this for dinner tonight. Deeeeeeeelicious!
Is this recipe suitable for freezing?
Yeah.
I don’t cook with tumeric a lot, but I happened to have a bottle in the cabinet from another recipe. I was so excited to find another use for it! I made this last week. Baked it in the oven on a rack and then broiled it for the last few minutes to crisp up the skin. Everyone really enjoyed it. Great flavor!
Thanks Lisa for trying my honey turmeric chicken.
Looks great. What could you serve it with?
Rice, noodles, salad. It’s totally up to you!
Thanks
i’m gonna try baking it. do I just put it in the oven empty(just the chicken) or do I need to put some non stick, lil bit of the marinate sauce?
Why don’t you read the instructions James?
Could the chicken be marinated in the turmeric/honey mixture for an hour or two?
Of course you can. :)
Thank you Bee for the nice recipe
This looks and sounds fantastic, like everything you make! I will be trying this out for a dinner this week. Thanks for sharing!
