I love fish and enjoy all kinds of fish recipes such as baked cod, swai fish and tilapia recipes.
Halibut is one of my favorite firm white fish. It has a mild and delicate taste, with a perfect texture for homemade fish recipes.
I went to a seafood market and got some fresh halibut fillets because they are so delicious.
I made two recipes from the fish: Ginger Soy Fish and this easy Garlic Butter Fish.
Garlic and butter are two magic ingredients that go well with all kinds of proteins, including fish recipes.

Deeelicious! Only one recommendation would be to prep the Garlic sauce but not put it together until the fish is almost cooked through because with the butter, it solidified twice and required some quick nuking before I could put it on the finished fish.
PS: I probably used more than a dash of cayenne since my partner likes “hot” and since I’m Italian, I don’t scrimp on the garlic!
Rasa Malaysia
Thanks for the recommendation. I made it in hotter days so didn’t have that solidified butter issue. Thanks for letting me know! :)

Hi. Just found this recipe. It looks yummy. I know my mom will ask me if I tested it with a thermometer for the “right” temperature when checking for doneness. I don’t need to do that here though, do I? Thanks for answering? so Ican show her!

My husband just had triple bypass and we are normally red meat eaters which had come to a stop. Would this recipe be considered heart healthy?
Rasa Malaysia
I think so, fish is healthy. You can use olive oil instead of butter.

I rarely cook fish since my kids don’t like it but I saw this picture on Pinterest and it looked so goo I had to try it. I actually used my air fryer and some spray olive oil. Flipped once and tossed in the butter sauce. Amazing!
