How to Make Cilantro Lime Rice?
It’s very easy to make the rice. Everything is cooked in one skillet or pan so there is only one utensil to wash.
First, rinse and cook the rice in a skillet with water, chicken broth, salt and butter.
After the rice is cooked, add cilantro leaves and lime juice to the rice, stir to mix well and serve immediately.
The end result is absolutely delicious, refreshing and appetizing.
The rice is moist, with the wonderful aromas of the cilantro and goes well with chicken recipes, shrimp recipes or salmon recipes.

Cilantro Lime Rice
Cilantro Lime Rice - easy and delicious one-pot rice with cilantro, lime juice and butter. This Mexican-inspired rice is better than Chipotle.
Ingredients
- 2 cups long grain rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/4 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves
- 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Rinse the rice thoroughly with cold water and drain, repeat for 3-4 times until the water runs clear. Transfer the clean rice into the skillet and add 1 cup clean water, chicken broth, salt and butter to the rice. Cover the lid and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes, or until the water is dry and the rice is cooked through. Turn off the heat, add the cilantro leaves and lime juice to the rice. Stir and loosen up the rice and mix well with the cilantro leaves and lime juice. Serve warm.
