5 Secrets to 20 Minute Dinners!
Tips, tricks, and recipes for dinner in a hurry!
I never run out of shrimp in my freezer.
I always have a pack or two frozen shrimp that I can quickly whip up for dinner.
Shrimp is so versatile and delicious, and this garlic honey lime shrimp recipe is no exception.
Shrimp is really not that expensive when they are on sale.
For 1 lb bag of shrimp, you can get it for $6-$7 or cheaper. They are shelled, deveined, and ready for cooking.
You can use whole peeled shrimp (no tail-on) and they are cheaper.
When you have good shrimp, all you need are some basic ingredients: garlic, honey, salt, cayenne pepper and squirts of fresh lime juice.
Serve this garlic honey lime shrimp with pasta, noodles, or cilantro lime rice.
I served it with my creamy garlic Parmesan fettuccine and dinner was delicious!

Yum! That’s all I’ve got. Took a picture but don’t see a place to post it.
Thanks Heather. Sorry you can’t post pictures on my site!
The sauce never thickened and I did not want to continue to cook the shrimp in fear of over cooking. Overcooked shrimp is rubbery!
Is this frozen, raw shrimp going directly into the pan?
Yes!
I tried this last night! It turned out amazing, will be making it in the future!

I’m not sure what I did wrong but my sauce never thickened . So it wasn’t really sticky
The sauce should be thickened. You have to cook longer to reduce the sauce.
Made your lime/honey shrimp and it was absolutely the BEST EVER! Very easy & fairly quick and would be able to use a variety of rice, pasta or risotto. I got the shrimp just slightly overdone but will know better for 2nd go! AND there will be many times in the future as this really is the BEST and I am not exaggerating-have never posted any review and really don’t cook :) My husband, who is the cook loved it, seriously we both were surprised as I had mentioned all the great reviews & laughed as it was such a simple receipt we thought people were a bit full
Of it :) but we were the ones wrong! Thank you for sharing this excellent recipe!

Oh my goodness. This recipe is so yummy. I scaled way down on the portion since it was dinner for one and probably went a little heavier on the honey. Haha. SO good. This made my “favorites” list!

Great recipe. Added one chopped jalapeño instead of cayenne because I needed to use it. Served it over your cilantro lime rice. Husband said “this is a keeper!” Big compliment. Next time I will double the sauce because it’s so good over the rice.
5 Stars!
