I never run out of shrimp in my freezer.

I always have a pack or two frozen shrimp that I can quickly whip up for dinner.

Shrimp is so versatile and delicious, and this garlic honey lime shrimp recipe is no exception.

Easy skillet shrimp with fresh lime, ready to serve.

Shrimp is really not that expensive when they are on sale.

For 1 lb bag of shrimp, you can get it for $6-$7 or cheaper. They are shelled, deveined, and ready for cooking.

You can use whole peeled shrimp (no tail-on) and they are cheaper.

Garlic Honey Lime Shrimp close up.

When you have good shrimp, all you need are some basic ingredients: garlic, honey, salt, cayenne pepper and squirts of fresh lime juice.

Serve this garlic honey lime shrimp with pasta, noodles, or cilantro lime rice.

I served it with my creamy garlic Parmesan fettuccine and dinner was delicious!

Iโ€™m not sure what I did wrong but my sauce never thickened . So it wasnโ€™t really sticky

    1. Rasa Malaysia says:

The sauce should be thickened. You have to cook longer to reduce the sauce.

  5. Gail Benda says:

Made your lime/honey shrimp and it was absolutely the BEST EVER! Very easy & fairly quick and would be able to use a variety of rice, pasta or risotto. I got the shrimp just slightly overdone but will know better for 2nd go! AND there will be many times in the future as this really is the BEST and I am not exaggerating-have never posted any review and really donโ€™t cook :) My husband, who is the cook loved it, seriously we both were surprised as I had mentioned all the great reviews & laughed as it was such a simple receipt we thought people were a bit full
Of it :) but we were the ones wrong! Thank you for sharing this excellent recipe!

Oh my goodness. This recipe is so yummy. I scaled way down on the portion since it was dinner for one and probably went a little heavier on the honey. Haha. SO good. This made my “favorites” list!

  6. NeeNee says:

Great recipe. Added one chopped jalapeรฑo instead of cayenne because I needed to use it. Served it over your cilantro lime rice. Husband said โ€œthis is a keeper!โ€ Big compliment. Next time I will double the sauce because itโ€™s so good over the rice.
