Shrimp Pasta Recipe
I have different shrimp pasta recipes but this recipe is my absolute favorite because it’s made with a beer sauce!
If you don’t like beer, you can use dry white wine. If you can’t have alcohol in your food, you may use chicken broth for this recipe.
Shrimp and Pasta
Shrimp and pasta are perfect together when it comes to making quick and easy meal for weeknight dinner.
I love shrimp. It’s a healthy seafood and lends the most amazing flavors to a simple pasta dish.
Shrimp is not too expensive and you can get frozen shrimp in a bag for as low as $6.99 at Target. For pasta, I love using spaghetti.
You can also use angel hair pasta, linguine or fettuccine. Other than that, penne and fussili are great, too.
How to Make Shrimp Pasta?
Homemade pasta is so tasty and healthy. To make this easy recipe with spicy and red sauce, you will need the following ingredients:
- Shelled and deveined shrimp. You can have tail-on or tail-off shrimp.
- Garlic is great for shrimp.
- Your favorite pasta.
- Beer. You can also use dry white wine.
- Spices such homemade dry rub.
First, make the spicy shrimp in red sauce. Next, just add pasta and mix well with the shrimp and dinner is ready for the entire family.

I had fennel, and from the garden -parsley, sage, jalapeño, yellow cherry tomatoes, shrimp in the freezer, a pack of Gluten-free egg fettuccini, one g-f beer, (and white wine I didn’t want to open for a recipe). I threw all my ingredients into a search engine, modified to add my extra ingredients, and voila. Delicious.
Yay!
Hi, Iam wondering if anyone have try this with something else instead of Shrimps?
Hi Ameena, you can try it with chicken or other protein.
This was delicious. I added more cherry tomatoes, a bit more garlic, a pinch of red pepper flakes and dry white wine. I sprinkled Cajun seasoning on shrimp.
I added some broccoli in the end. Will definitely make again. Thank you for a great recipe.

I’ve been looking for a good simple pasta recipe to make with shrimp and I final found this one. This recipe is excellent and was enjoyed by the whole family. This will be added to the repertoire and used often. Instant family favorite.
Amazing version of this recipe. Being doing something similar for a while with olive oil and it was ok. But doing this with butter, watching the melted butter brown with all the little garlic bits after cooking the shrimp was magical. Even my son, who doesnt like shrimp, ate this up.
Made your delicious shrimp pasta yesterday. Outstanding!!! Love your recipes however I have to break them down for 1 serving. It seems to work fine. Thank you.

Do you have the recipe for it.
If yes, Please e-mail to me.
Thank you.
Hi Tony, I am sorry but I don’t know how to make har kow. I think it’s probably prawn shell water, boil and add sugar and becomes caramel.
I love your recipes and can’t wait to open them every day. They are easy, tasty and I usually have most of the ingredients. I just want to thank you for sharing.
