Brown Butter Scallops - perfectly seared scallops using brown butter. Juicy scallops that pair well with pasta. 10 mins to cook.
When I don’t have a lot of time, I make very simple dishes that calls for very simple ingredients without sacrificing taste, for example: scallops.
Scallops are naturally briny and extremely flavorful, a quick sear on the skillet and they are cooked.
They also pair well with a simple pasta dish such as easy spaghetti or Parmesan garlic noodles.
These perfectly seared brown butter scallops are amazing! It took me practically 10 minutes to make, with very little prep time.
The only things you need to do are seasoning the scallops with salt and black pepper, grate some lemon peel on top of them, and garnish with chopped parsley after they are cooked.
The recipe takes 5 ingredients and 10 minutes to make. It really doesn’t get any easier, or more delicious than this. Bon appetit!

I absolutely love scallops and I’ve found the less you do to them the better they are. This looks like an excellent recipe to have on hand.
Yes, they are so briny and tasty you just need very little seasonings. :)
I love sea scallops but living 150 miles inland I’m limited to frozen. I am going to pick some up and use your recipe, it looks so good!! Your recipes are easy and most ingredients are available in my area and trust me, that is incredible!!
Hi Judy, thanks for your sweet note. Yes, frozen scallops work, but make sure you get the natural scallops (untreated by water). I have two other scallops recipes that you might like: https://rasamalaysia.com/creamy-garlic-scallops/ and https://rasamalaysia.com/garlic-scallops/. Bon appetit! :)
