It’s very easy to cook shrimp using beer. The beer will act as the broth for the dish, cooking and infusing the succulent shrimp with its nuance.

Add some homemade dry rub spices to the shrimp and you will have one of the most amazing shrimp recipes ever!

What Beer To Use

Spicy shrimp beer, ready to serve.

You can use all kinds of beer you like.

I also use beer to make steamed clams and steamed mussels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use old bay seasonings?

I strongly encourage you to try out the homemade dry rub recipe, it’s the best spice seasoning ever and you can use it on shrimp, baked pork chops, chicken, etc. The recipe is from my friend Harry Soo from Slap Yo Daddy, which is a top barbecue pit master in United States! Old Bay Seasonings will be fine for the shrimp but it’s very salty. So you want to use slightly less than what my recipe calls for.

How many calories per serving?
